Family Programs Tour
Bustling and frustrating day full of ppl who dont care about the interns since it's friday.
Timesheet, library, ID, tour trouble
Reception with a lot of sweet but a good long conversation with the head of Education (recommendation seemingly becoming more likely)
Rockstar senior lecturer Annie Morse in her element in her themed tour of Satyrs and Sidechairs, handling Mr. New Jersey and misperceptions with flair!
Rushing lunch, helpful guard who spotted us the dime for the $1.10 candy bar (seriously? $1.10?) in the vending machine--really gotta get to know these people
Loooooove the library, omg I love it so!
Dinner with Soe Moe and (super) Burmese crew + one unfortunate white guy who is dating the small petite girl in the friend group who is a credit analyst at Chase
Everyone is loud, obnoxious and super burmese which means all they can possibly do is babble and not give a damn about me or the white guy. Nice to know that 30 year old intellectual Burmese people who know English are just as bad as the full age range of my immigrant family
Also good to know that apparently all 30 year olds are essentially mourning to be high schoolers since they all act like damn fools and children
Gotta start keeping another blog at aic2012interns.wordpress.com--check it out if you wanna see what my fellow interns have been musing about
Walking to the lake, must return when it is light and cool
Got photo and salsa classes tomorrow! whooooo
