So apparently Conan is in town and decided to mount his larger than life bobblehead outside of the Art Institute. Wonder if he's allowed to do that since apparently the Director of Education had no idea this was happening and uh...something tells me the AIC would frown upon it.

Today was good, nice exercise doing a logistical tour of the museum
Still need to visit Fullerton Hall, every elevator, and also the Family Terrace with the terrifying sculptures apparently--and befriend someone who will take me to floor M so i can look down at the galleries
the bridge is beauuutiful!

the public tour of the lichtenstein show was amazing, had about 115 people on it so it was very slow and slumbering but still very interesting to hear

then went to chipotle to have some lunch
and then back to the room to chat up people and we passed by the huge head on the flatbed truck lol

after lunch we met interim director of Education David Stark, a really nice and awkward man who definitely is probably the most endearing person ive met here haha

then research! went back into the galleries and realized my pieces are pretty logistical and good :D
whoooo gotta keep going and researching!

  1. I was watching today's episode of Conan and saw that they put that right outside your museum. Hehe so you did see it, huh?

    1. Haha yeah but I was rushing past it because I was so hungry for lunch. Some of the other interns went to go see it and they said it took way too long to get it in place that they had to leave

Do you know how long it will be there or if it's gonna move around?

  2. According to Conan, they moved it away from the museum and it was placed at a place called Harold's Chicken Shack, displaying a sign for the specials.
